This sounded so good and since it IS Salmon Season, I thought I would share. I would love some feed back from those who try it. I will be trying it next week. 1 fillet of salmon lemon juice bacon (anything with bacon is gonna be good) lemon slices garlic powder Put salmon fillet on Foil, sprinkle with lemon juice and garlic powder. Cover with slices of bacon, then put lemon slices on top of bacon. Enclose in foil. Put on the grill or in the broiler for 25 mins. Open and let stand for 15 and indulge....

Who would have thought that Lixey Fish Market would have Free Stuff for the Kiddies? Paul Bunyan, that’s who. I have 10 buttons for the Paul Bunyan Festival on Sept 17th and 18th that I will give away, 1 per child age 12 and under, when you bring them in with you to purchase your fresh or smoked fish. Ingredients 1 (1 1/2 pound) salmon fillet 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon sesame oil Directions 1.In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. If grilling the salmon, coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray before starting the grill. Grill salmon, covered, over medium heat or broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until salmon flakes easily with a fork, basting frequently...

Another summer is gone and even though we are not yet closing for the season, we would like to thank all our repeat customers for their support and to all (and there were many) the new customers we met this year, thank you and we hope that you will become repeat customers. We enjoyed seeing and meeting everyone and sharing great stories and times. God Bless all. Well, we made it. It is Labor Day weekend with three days of no work for most (Not Me Though). I am here for you. Smoked Whitefish, Salmon and Lake Trout on Thursday to prep for the weekend and I have to smoke again tomorrow. We, also, have smoked fish dip for your appetizing pleasure. Now that! is Fresh Smoked Fish. A walleye or whitefish grill sounds great for the heart smart, but for the rest of us a fish fry is the way to go: Perch, Walleye or Whitefish. Did someone say Shrimp on the Barby? Well,...
